Mailed four months after the start of the Civil War, this small cover bears a "RICHMOND, VA AUG 17, 1861" postmark and is addressed to Miss Corinne Reeves of Murfreesboro, Tenn. With three open sides and the reverse flap still intact, the cover remains in overall nice condition.
